I live in a house with 4 boys… 5 if you include the dog. Whether they like it or not, I think about what to dress them in, what shoes should they wear, and force them into little beanie hats or baseball caps to complete the outfit. I LOVE playing dress up. Luckily, they often humor me. I’ve been blessed beyond measure.
But I have to say, often times I look in the mirror and I am exhausted, disheveled, and I realize at 10pm it is the first time I’ve seen a mirror all day. I always tell my husband, “I’m going to do something for me” this week, but by the end of the week, I just plain forgot. I do get a manicure once a year (mother’s day) and for the first time in 7 years, I dyed my hair last month (oh my). I LOVE a little fashion and edginess in my life, but have little time to shop. I do it mostly online only to find that things don’t fit or aren’t made as well as I had hoped.
Until Lula Roe… I first discovered it in Nashville 3+ years ago, when my sister-in-law was headed to a friend of her’s to check out her stash and I bought an Irma, leggings, and an Amelia over FaceTime. I’ve worn these things OUT. They are cute, edgy, comfy, and EASY breezy.
When we moved back to Wheeling, WV, I freaked out; NO ONE HERE WAS SELLING IT! What do I do? So I bought from afar the best I could. When the company started to pick up in this area, I (and Nikki) freaked out, ITS ABOUT TIME. And when she was up for being a consultant, I was on board for many reasons:
1.) HELLO the clothes
2.) GIRLTIME which I am lacking, and may not get without force
3.) A little more financial freedom, considering I have medical school debt out the ANUS (medical term)
4.) A company that is both comfy, cheeky, and edgy
5.) I’m all in 🙂 and you should be too!
